Day 1 - Arrive Cairo
On arrival in Cairo, Egypt, you are met by a Lion World Travel representative and transferred to your hotel.
Built during the Suez Canal's inauguration in 1869, the 5-star Cairo Marriott Hotel has a history of accommodating dignitaries and celebrities. The guestrooms are luxuriously furnished and offer 24-hour room service. The hotel also has complimentary Wi-Fi.

Day 2 - Cairo

Visit the ancient capital of Memphis to view the 80-ton Alabaster Sphinx and the limestone Colossus of Ramesses II.
This afternoon, visit the Great Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza. Your visit includes entry to the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the oldest and largest in Giza, and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Day 3 - Cairo
Meet with your private Egyptologist guide and start your tour of the Egyptian Museum, which houses Egypt's richest collection of antiquities.
Visit the Citadel of Salah al-Din, a massive fortress that was home to Egypt’s rulers for more than 700 years. Your sightseeing concludes with a visit to the oldest bazaar of the Middle East, the Khan El Khalili, known for its alleys and hundreds of small shops selling various items.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.

Day 4 - Cairo/Luxor/Nile Cruise
This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight from Cairo to Luxor. You will be met and transferred to the port to board your 5-star floating Nile hotel for the next 4 nights. Ship amenities include a lounge with a full-service bar, cozy library, elegant restaurant, sun deck with cabanas and a swimming pool, fully equipped gym and massage room, gift boutique, and wireless Internet access in public areas.
Each room features a private balcony offering stunning views of the Nile River. Guests can enjoy added conveniences, such as a vanity, a makeup mirror, spacious built-in closets, a hair dryer, a secure safe, individual air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The bathrooms are thoughtfully designed, equipped with both a bathtub and a shower for ultimate comfort.

Day 5 - Dandera/ Luxor-Nile Cruise
This morning, cross the Nile to Luxor's West Bank, best known by its Greek name, Thebes, the capital of Egypt and became the permanent residence of the Pharaohs. This is where the Pharaohs were buried, and the Valley of the Kings has more than 60 tombs carved into the rock. The most famous is the tomb of Tutankhamun.
Access to Tutankhamen's tomb requires a separate ticket, which can be purchased in Luxor at an additional cost. Please note that this expense is not included in the tour price.
Visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s first female ruler. Return to the ship for lunch and continue your southbound journey to Esna. This evening, the captain will host a welcome cocktail function, followed by dinner and dancing.

Day 6 - Luxor/Kom Ombo-Nile Cruise
After breakfast, visit the Horus Temple in Edfu before sailing on to Kom Ombo. After lunch and afternoon tea, visit the dual temple in Kom Ombo. 
Return to the ship for a fun-filled Egyptian dinner and Galabeya party, including typical Egyptian music and activities.

Day 7 - Kom Ombo/Aswan Nile Cruise
This morning, sail to Aswan and visit the High Dam and the granite quarries.
Return to the ship for lunch. Later, you will board a felucca for a sail across the Nile and a visit to the Botanical Gardens. Dinner will include a Nubian show with live music.

Day 8 - Aswan/Cairo
Disembark the ship and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo, you will be met and transferred to the Hilton Heliopolis Hotel, where you have a reserved dayroom for use until your airport transfer.
Optional tour to Abu Simbel this morning – an additional cost of USD$560 per person, which includes an English-speaking on-site guide, or US$900 per person for a private guide travel with you from Aswan. Prices include flights: Aswan/Abu Simbel/Aswan.

Day 9 - Cairo/Depart
Around midnight, you will transfer to the airport for a very late-night / early morning flight.

Abu Simbel
