Day 1 - Arrive Kilimanjaro/Arusha

When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a Lion World Travel representative will be there to welcome you. You will then be driven to the Gran Melia Arusha to check in. Take some time to unwind and settle in before enjoying dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, drive to Mto wa Mbu, a bustling town with a variety of cultures from around Tanzania. This town is famous for its rice crops and the distinctive red bananas. Tour the town with a local guide. You have the opportunity to interact with local farmers, artisans, craftsmen, and painters. Enjoy a sampling of the local banana beer.
Continue to your lodge in Karatu, arriving in time for check-in and lunch. This afternoon, you have time to relax and enjoy the panoramic views. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, you'll descend 2,000 feet into the breathtaking crater below. This unique ecosystem is teeming with wildlife, offering endless photographic opportunities. Spend the day on a spectacular game drive, stopping for a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery.
Return to your lodge in the late afternoon with time to relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 4 - Ngorongoro/ Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your journey to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park begins. Along the way, you'll make a brief stop at the Olduvai Gorge, one of the most significant prehistoric sites on Earth. Here, you'll enjoy a talk from a resident guide about the gorge's pivotal role in understanding human evolution.
After arriving in the Serengeti, you'll check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, you'll go on a game drive through the vast 5,700-square-mile park to see its incredible wildlife.
In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 5 - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll depart with a packed lunch for a full day of uninterrupted game viewing in the Serengeti. Keep an eye out for the hundreds of predators that roam the vast savanna, or search for the cheetahs that inhabit the southern part of the National Park.
You will return to the lodge for dinner.
OPTIONAL: Dawn Air Balloon Safari - At sunrise, lift off and drift gently with the morning breeze, soaring wherever the winds guide you. This unforgettable journey offers a stunning aerial perspective and incredible opportunities to capture wildlife from above.

Day 6 - Serengeti/ Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed and enjoy a game drive en route to the camp.
Check in, have lunch, and relax before your afternoon adventure.
In the afternoon, embark on a scheduled game drive through the reserve. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 7 - Maasai Mara National Reserve
Today includes two extensive game drives. With a bit of luck, you might even witness a leopard or cheetah in pursuit of its prey!
Dinner will be served at the lodge, where you will also stay overnight.

Day 8 - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Today is dedicated to exploring the Maasai Mara, with two extensive game drives planned to reveal the region's rich wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.
Following the afternoon drive, you'll be whisked away to a private spot in the bush for an unforgettable sundowner experience as the sun sets. Dinner will be served back at the camp.

Day 9 - Maasai Mara/ Nairobi

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning before checking out. From there, you will head to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you and arrange your transfer to the world-famous Carnivore Restaurant for lunch.
After your meal, you will be escorted to the Emara Ole Sereni Hotel to check in; the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 10 - Nairobi/ Depart


Start your morning at the Giraffe Centre, where you can get up close with the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. Next, visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an orphanage for baby elephants. After this heartwarming experience, enjoy lunch at the charming Tamambo Karen Blixen restaurant. The afternoon takes you to the Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of the "Out of Africa" author. Explore the well-preserved farmhouse and its peaceful gardens as stories of old Kenya unfold against the Ngong Hills.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon to relax.
Later in the evening, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home.
