Day 1 - Maun/Makgadikgadi National Park

Upon arrival in Maun, you will be met by a Lion World Travel representative and transferred by road to Meno a Kwena. The road transfer is under 2 hours.
This camp offers views over the Boteti River, into the Makgadikgadi National Park. From this lofty vantage point, the tents look down on a menagerie of animals at the water below. Elephants move slowly down the riverbanks, antelope come to drink, and predators are never far behind. It’s one of those rare places where some of the best game viewing happens without even leaving camp.
The Meru-style tents are comfortable and have an indoor ensuite, private outdoor shower, and a veranda with a day bed and seating area.

Day 2 - Makgadikgadi National Park

After breakfast, head out on game drives along the Boteti River and into the Makgadikgadi landscape. Lunch and tea are taken in picturesque locations along the banks of the Boteti River, often with elephants and antelope.
Between April and November, witness the continent’s second-largest migration as thousands of zebras arrive. From the deck, the pool, or your private veranda, you can watch the spectacle unfold below.

Day 3 - Makgadikgadi National Park

Embark on a day of exploration through the African bush.
When water levels permit on the Boteti River, the floating viewing hide offers a close-up view of the bustling wildlife along its banks. Teeming with animals and birds, it's a photographer's dream.
Take an enlightening Bushman walk with small families from the Ju! Hoansi clan of Xai Xai, located on the Botswana-Namibia border. At Meno a Kwena, they share their deep-rooted knowledge as one of the last great nomadic peoples of the Kalahari Desert. This experience offers a rare insight into their hunter-gatherer lifestyle and how they have coexisted with wildlife for millennia.
