PCR Testing – we can’t take the test for you, but we’ve got the where and how covered!

Most countries and airlines require proof of a negative Covid PCR test. As your safari experts, we know their requirements and will take care of scheduling tests during your travels in Uganda, so that it’s conveniently planned into your itinerary and taking into consideration that results take between 24-72 hours. Tests cost between $100 and $330 per person, per test including transport to the testing facility. Your Africa Specialist will give you more information as it relates to your itinerary.

Day 1 - Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be met by a Lion World Travel representative and transferred to Protea Hotel Entebbe. This luxurious 4-star resort hotel is ideally located on the glistening shores of Lake Victoria and just over a ½ mile from the Entebbe Airport.

Protea Hotel Entebbe offers a wide variety of services including a restaurant that offers a daily a la carte menu. This hotel offers elegant furnishings and a warm, inviting feel and luxurious atmosphere. The outside terrace, with its own special ambience and superb lake views is the perfect place to take it all in.

Day 2 - Entebbe/Kibale Tropical Rain Forest

Today after breakfast, you will be transferred through beautiful agricultural countryside and tea plantations into Kibale tropical rain forest, with a picnic lunch. The gorgeous tropical forest is home to much forest wildlife including various primates along with chimpanzees.

Arrive at Kyaninga Lodge in the afternoon. Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Kyaninga and the Rwenzori Mountains beyond, Kyaninga Lodge is the spectacular result of one man’s vision and six years of unwavering commitment to creating an experience of Africa’s beauty unlike anything else.

You can experience the beauty of this unexplored region, while staying in the height of luxury and elegance.
