Day 1 - Johannesburg

On arrival in Johannesburg you will be met by a Lion World Travel representative and transferred to the renowned Michelangelo Hotel, a 5-star hotel located on Sandton's Nelson Mandela Square in Johannesburg, with easy access to Africa’s finest shops, restaurants, cinemas and theatres. The Michelangelo is a proud member of the "Leading Hotels of the World". The hotel is built in Renaissance style and offers luxurious accommodation in large and comfortable rooms.

Day 2 - Johannesburg/Maun/Eagle Island Lodge

After breakfast you will be transferred from your hotel to Johannesburg Airport for your flight to Maun where a light aircraft will be waiting to fly you to the Okavango Delta. Eagle Island Lodge is nestled in Botswana’s lush Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s largest inland water systems.

Each of the lodge’s spacious deluxe tented rooms has its own plunge pool and a private deck provides the perfect space to soak up the scenery.

Flooded with daylight, the interior décor is elegant and light. Every tented room has an oversized bed with views of the delta. The uniquely designed, handmade copper-finish headboards reference Botswana’s mining tradition.
