One of the Highlights of My Life

Dear Cheryl,

I can't think of enough good things to say about the safari. It was everything you said it would be and so much more. Saw lots and lots of animals (I think the only big things we missed were a cheetah and a rhino). Plus, there was a little excitement when we had a couple of up-close and personal experiences with an elephant and later, a lioness.

Food-wise. Everything was delicious and, as you know, they fed us at every opportunity. From our morning wake up coffee and biscuits to breakfast buffets; from the actual breakfast to tea or sundowners out in the bush; from lunch to high tea; and then on to dinner too. Cruise fare is noted for being plentiful, but I don’t believe they could top the quality and quantity of the safari offerings.

The helicopter ride was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. I had never been in such a small copter before – and again, as you know, it only seats 3 plus the pilot and there are no sides. It was really special seeing so many things from the air. On the ground, we had seen a few hippos in isolated pools, but from the air could count 20 or more in one place. It was great.

I would heartily recommend you and your company to any and all of my friends. It was one of the highlights of my life.

Many many thanks,
Myrna H.
