PCR Testing – we can’t take the test for you, but we’ve got the where and how covered!
Most countries and airlines require proof of a negative Covid PCR test. As your safari experts, we know their requirements and will take care of scheduling tests during your travels in Botswana, so that it’s conveniently planned into your itinerary and taking into consideration that results take between 24-72 hours. Tests cost between $100 and $330 per person, per test including transport to the testing facility. Your Africa Specialist will give you more information as it relates to your itinerary.

Day 1 - Arrive Johannesburg
On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, you will be met by a Lion World Travel representative and transferred to either the InterContinental OR Tambo Airport Hotel or African Pride Melrose Arch Hotel.

Day 2 - Maun/Boteti River Valley
Fly to Maun, take a light aircraft transfer to Boteti River Valley and road transfer to Leroo La Tau with its luxury chalets all overlooking the magnificent Makgadikgadi Pans National Park.
Please Note: Luggage restrictions on the Botswana light aircraft transfer flights is 20kg/44lbs in soft bags – including hand luggage.

Day 3 - Boteti River Valley
Enjoy daily game activities in the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park on the western boundary of park, where thousands of zebras migrate to the Boteti River in the dry winter months (May to Oct) from their summer grazing ground further inside the park.
During your stay you will visit the Khumaga Village and Primary School. This heart-warming excursion offers you an insight into the people who you will fall in love with.

Day 4 - Boteti River Valley/Moremi Game Reserve
Transfer on a light aircraft to the Moremi Game Reserve and Camp Xakanaxa located on the banks of the Khwai River. Accommodation is in spacious all canvas, classic Meru style luxury safari tents, with en suite bathrooms.

Day 5 - Moremi Game Reserve
Enjoy dawn and dusk game viewing activities in Moremi’s lush landscape of lagoons, shallow flood pans, plains, and forests. It is one of Africa's finest areas for wildlife, with abundant game.

Option: Camp Moremi (alternative to Camp Xakanaxa) The recently rebuilt Camp Moremi delivers the classic African safari experience. This camp is located within the Moremi Game Reserve, on the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon in an area known for its spectacular game-viewing opportunities.
Day 6 - Moremi Game Reserve/Kasane/Chobe Savanna Lodge
Take a light aircraft transfer to Kasane Airport and continue to Chobe Savanna Lodge by road and boat transfer. This transfer includes a border crossing between Botswana and Namibia).
The exclusive lodge offers stunning views over the Chobe River and beyond to the Chobe National Park.

Day 7 - Chobe Savanna Lodge
The Chobe River is one of the most well-known perennial rivers in Africa. The abundant wildlife inhabiting the river and its shores can be viewed from a river safari where one can spot elephants, hippo, water-loving antelope including the rare Puku and a variety of other game.
A cultural outing entails a visit to the nearby community to immerse yourself in the everyday life of someone from a small village in Namibia. Chobe Savanna Lodge directly supports this village through various initiatives and employment opportunities.

After breakfast enjoy a guided walking tour of Victoria Falls, one of seven natural wonders of the world.

A visit to the iconic Victoria Falls is a truly awe-inspiring experience.
