Day 01
Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport, where you will be met by a Lion World Tours representative and transferred to your hotel located a short distance from Arusha Town Centre.
Concealed in the depths of a tree-shaded coffee plantation, wreathed in multi-coloured tresses of tumbling bougainvillea, cooled by mountain streams, Mountain Village Serena offers a haven of calm and serenity just outside the hustle and bustle of Arusha, Tanzania's premier "Safari Town". Set in the flowered gardens of a coffee planter's farm house and surrounded by rolling groves of wax-green coffee bushes, Mountain Village offers wide timbered decks with panoramic views over Lake Duluti, and a selection of ethnically-styled "Rondavel" village-cluster rooms, each one neatly thatched with "Makuti" stems, lavishly embellished with "Makonde" carvings and comfortably furnished in traditional safari style.

Day 02
After breakfast take a morning nature walk around Lake Duluti followed by lunch. After lunch take seat in vehicle safari and you depart Arusha passing through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. At the town of Makayuni you turn North West and continue the journey up through a scenic escarpment that brings you to your lodge, perched on the edge of the Rift Valley with stunning views over the distant Lake Manyara.
Standing high on the bluff of a dramatic ochre and terracotta streaked cliff above the flamingo-frosted expanse of Lake Manyara's gleaming alkaline waters, Lake Manyara Serena Lodge commands panoramic views across the volcano-studded floor of the Great Rift Valley. Designed to reflect the brilliance of Lake Manyara's unique birdlife, the Lodge draws on an inspirational architectural motif that melds swooping avian curves with the gentle concentric patterns of traditional Maasai "Bomas" (encampments) whilst the vibrantly colored frescoes lining the walls are designed to depict the colorful intricacy of bird migratory patterns. The ambiance of the Lodge is a fusion of lakeside tranquility, towering volcanic splendor and adventure-packed sporting activity

Day 03
After breakfast there is a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park that returns to the lodge for lunch.
This Park is south west of Arusha and was established in l960. Manyara is believed to be a Maasai word for the plant "manyara", which is used for making stockades around their kraals. This Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions. Manyara is also famous for its concentrations of elephant and other animals that are seen in abundance include the hippo, buffalo giraffe, baboon and wildebeest.
Leaving Lake Manyara behind, the journey continues North West across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands which is filled with wheat and coffee plantations, and then into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here lie the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you'll hopefully start spotting game well before you get into the park.
Serengeti Serena Lodge is located on a hill with awesome views across the sweeping plains of Serengeti National Park. Home to the great migration, the Serengeti offers you an abundance of wildlife including the "Big Five" of lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo. The unspoiled wilderness of the Serengeti allows you to witness big game feeding in full view from the lodge as you enjoy luxury service. The lodge design is simple but stunning. Each room has a balcony with a view of the vast Serengeti plains. A delightful water feature runs through the main public areas, creating a natural source of waterborne plants, and also provides a home to many indigenous species of reptiles, amphibians and birds.

Perched on the jagged rim of the crater, wreathed in morning mist, camouflaged in river-stone and cloaked in indigenous creepers, the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge is a triumph of ecological and architectural fusion. The clustered boulder-built buildings of the Lodge hug the crater rim, linked by rope-lashed timber walkways that skirt the buttressed roots of ancient, liana-hung trees. The interior radiates out from the primeval log fire glowing at the heart of the Lodge. Lit by flaming wall-lanterns, clad in gigantic volcanic boulders and decorated by the iron spears, bright-beaded robes and intricately carved artifacts of the Maasai, the Lodge is a unique blend of world-class luxury, timeless volcanic splendor and ethnic style. As for the views, from lilac-streaked sunrise, to indigo star-studded night, the immeasurably ancient Ngorongoro Crater delivers a theatre of vistas most unchanged.
