Day 01
Depart from New York (JFK) or Washington (Dulles) on your international South African Airways flight to Cape Town, South Africa via Johannesburg.
Day 02
On arrival at Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport's Central Terminal Building, collect your luggage and then clear Customs & Immigration. Re-check your bags for your domestic flight to Cape Town. Then upon arrival at Cape Town Airport, you will be met by a Lion World Tours representative and transferred to your hotel.

Nestled among indigenous flora with the majestic Twelve Apostles Mountain range as a backdrop, and overlooking an intimate bay, the luxury Twelve Apostles Hotel basks in splendid isolation poised on the Atlantic Ocean edge. This intimate five star Hotel prides itself on exceptional hospitality.

The Hotel offers picnic walks up the mountain with experienced guides and also offers sundowners on the little beach across from the Hotel. Shark diving is also available in front of the Hotel.

Day 03
After breakfast at the Hotel you will depart on a full day Cape Peninsula and Winelands tour. You will travel along the Atlantic Seaboard, to Hout Bay. From Hout Bay, travel to Noordhoek and through Ou Kaapse Weg.

Proceed to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, where you are able to ride the funicular to the viewpoint where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.

The Cape Peninsula is the thin finger of land in the south-western most corner of Africa with the city of Cape Town at its head.

As you travel south toward Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, the land gets narrower until the great Indian and Atlantic Oceans combine into one vast southern ocean, with nothing beyond except Antarctica. On leaving the Nature Reserve, proceed to Simonstown.

You will continue on the Wineland tour. This classic tour takes you through spectacular vineyard covered valleys and along scenic country roads. During the course of the afternoon you will visit Franschhoek, first settled by the French Huguenots in 1688.

You will make a stop in Stellenbosch, the second oldest European settlement in South Africa, which has some of the best preserved historical buildings in South Africa. The scenery is combined with two wine tastings, a cellar tour and the opportunity to purchase some local wines.

Day 04
Today you will be at leisure to visit Table Mountain (weather permitting). You will make your own way to Table Mountain, which is well known for its spectacular views. The new revolving cable cars give stunning views over Cape Town.

Once on top, there is time to wander around and take photographs from the numerous viewing decks around. Take a look at the curio shop, take a walk around to the different viewpoints, or you may want to stop for refreshments. After making your descent you will have the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 05
After breakfast at the Hotel the remainder of the day is at leisure to either visit the fabulous stores and restaurants at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, or just relax at the hotel.

Day 06
Today you will be taken by private transfer from your hotel to Cape Town Airport in time for your flight to Durban. Upon arrival at Durban Airport you will be met and taken by private transfer to your hotel.

Day 07
Today you will enjoy a day of leisure.

Umhlanga Rocks forms part of the Sugar Coast. The name 'Umhlanga' means 'Place of Reeds' and is also well known for its landmark lighthouse, golden beaches, beautiful parks and a selective variety of accommodation and delicious cuisine, making Umhlanga one of KwaZulu-Natal's prime up-market holiday destinations north of Durban. The Natal coast is very tropical with warm weather all year round, due to the warm Indian Ocean. The Kwazulu Natal coastline offers some of the best surfing anywhere in the world.

Day 08
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Mkuze Falls.

The Mkuze Falls Private Game Reserve is beautifully situated in the heart of historic Zululand in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal.

Mkuze Falls is one of only two Private Game Reserves in the region where you can view Africa�s Big Five - lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, elephant and for bird lovers, nearly 400 species of birds are resident.

Mkuze Falls Private Game Reserve is located along the northern bank of the Mkuze River, in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal. Overlooking the Mkuze Waterfall, the Lodge features nine luxuriously appointed thatched chalets and one safari suite, accommodating eighteen guests in utmost comfort and style.

All of these rooms have a breathtaking view of the river, bush and mountains. Private plunge-pools and an outside shower provide a wild but intimate touch alongside the gratifying luxury of the air-conditioned bedroom.

Day 09
Safaris or game drives take place in the early morning, late afternoon and early evening. The game drives are led by experienced game rangers and trained nature guides. Day 10
Today you will be taken by private transfer from Mkuze Falls Lodge to Rocktail Beach Camp where you will spend 2-nights including all meals and scheduled activities.

Rocktail Beach Camp lies in the lush, tropical shade of the Maputaland Coastal Forest with the Maputaland Marine Reserve just offshore. The reserve provides sactuary for marine life with extraordinary diving and snorkeling encounters with huge shoals of fish, dolphins and whales - just right for world-class dicing and snorkeling, remote, unspoiled beaches and other beach adventures.

Day 11
Today you are at leisure to participate in the many activities offered by the Camp.

Rocktail Beach Camp is set back in and shaded by the sanctuary of the lush Maputaland Coastal Forest covering the ancient dunes that make up the edge of South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal coast. With the Maputaland Marine Reserve just offshore and the beach a leisurely 15-minute walk from the camp, there are world-class diving and snorkeling, remote, unspoiled beaches and other beach adventures to be had.

Day 12
After breakfast at the Camp, bid farewell to South Africa as you are taken by private transfer from Rocktail Beach Camp to Richards Bay Airport for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg. (B)

On arrival at Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport connect with your scheduled international flight back to the USA on South African Airways.
Day 13
