Bride:   Janet Rogers
Groom: Robert Murphy

Dear family and friends, welcome to our personalized web page.
Our wedding date is April 29, 2006.

This is our exciting Dream Honeymoon itinerary that we have chosen:

Day 1

Depart the USA on your flight to Johannesburg and connection to Cape Town.

Day 2
Arrive in Cape Town, a city dominated by a towering, table-shaped mountain. Immense natural beauty, and the fast pace and bright lights of a great urban centre meld effortlessly here. Cape Town offers a myriad of things to do and places to see, whatever your tastes, inclinations or budget.

Your 4 star hotel, The Commodore is situated in the V&A Waterfront with it's array of shops, restaurants, bars and activities. The hotel offers superb service and excellent cuisine in a secure, friendly environment and most rooms have wonderful views of Table Mountain, Table Bay and Signal Hill. The Clipper Restaurant offers superb dining in a tranquil setting, from a mouthwatering buffet breakfast to a diverse A la carte menu and devilish desserts! And to delight the palate further, indulge in a large selection of sherries, brandies and fine cognacs, or explore The Commodore House Wine Collection. Alternatively, relax to the nostalgic melodies played by the piano man over a light meal or high tea at The Admiralty Bar & Lounge.

Day 3
Today you will be collected for a coach tour of the Cape Winelands, the world's longest wine route where splendid mountains form a dramatic backdrop to lush vineyards and gabled Cape Dutch homesteads steeped in history. Experience the hospitality and beauty of Stellenbosch, Paarl, and Franschhoek. Visit some of the many wine farms, experience rich historical and cultural heritage while visiting quaint villages, museums and galleries. It's not only about wine, its a world of olive farms, hand-crafted cheeses, wide open skies, craggy mountain passes and unique Fynbos Floral Kingdom.

Day 4
Today your private guide will collect you for a Cape Peninsula tour. Drive over mountain passes, along the rugged coastline with secluded coves and sweeping beaches to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Nowhere else in the world does an area of such spectacular beauty and such rich biodiversity exist almost entirely within a metropolitan area, the thriving and cosmopolitan City of Cape Town. With its rugged cliffs, steep slopes and sandy flats - is a truly remarkable natural, scenic wonder.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on a secluded beach before continuing on to Boulders Beach where you visit the delightful Penguin colony that has established itself on the secluded beach.

Day 5
Today is at leisure to relax and browse around the lovely Victoria & Alfred Waterfront or take a taxi to the Greenmarket Square flea market to shop for African souvenirs.

Later you will be collected for a romantic evening of excellent cuisine and dancing to live music at the Pigalle.

Day 6
This morning you fly to The Kruger National Park to begin your romantic African Safari.
Your accommodation is at Bongani Mountain Lodge, a piece of Africa perched atop a granite mountain with views that will open your mind and heart. Arriving at Bongani, the first thing you see is a bank of mammoth granite rocks. Like a gateway to another world, this narrow natural rock passage is the only access to the lodge reception. Local legend holds that walking through this rock crevice will enhance your fertility.

Late this afternoon enjoy an open vehicle game drive guided by highly qualified game rangers. The evening drives are spotlit and offer insights into the activities of nocturnal animals including leopard, civet and genet. Return for a romantic dinner in the fire-lit boma.

Day 7
Start your day with a scrumptious bush breakfast. Then enjoy your morning game drive as you experience the thrill of close encounters with Africa's Big Five. Travel along the paths of legend and mystery. Interpret the signs, sounds and scents of wild animals in this unspoilt wilderness.

Day 8
The Mozambique beaches await you. Sunny skies, palm-fringed beaches and coral reefs teeming with marine life make Mozambique one of the most beautiful destinations in Africa. For a magical island holiday you will visit Bazaruto Island located in a proclaimed Marine National Park with its miles of sandy white beaches, crystal clear azure seas, superb coral reefs, soaring sand dunes and exuberant bird life, to abundant marine life including big game fish such as Black Marlin.

Stay at Indigo Bay Island Resort in a beautiful beach chalet, designed with softly fringed thatched roofs to blend in with the natural surroundings, and interior finishes that complement the ambience and beauty of the location. The thatch and reed chalets are sheltered and secluded with direct access to the beach.

Day 9
You have an exhilarating range of things to do here. Watersports, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, nature walks and island drives. If you prefer the quiet life, soak up the sun on the pristine beach with the azure waters of the Indian Ocean just metres away.

Day 10
This is your final day to luxuriate in your surroundings and enjoy the warm waters of the tropical Indian Ocean.

Day 11
Depart for Johannesburg and connect to your homebound flight.

Day 12
Arrive home filled with memories of a honeymoon of a lifetime.
