 SPECTACULAR SAFARI SERENADE
Day 1
Depart on your international flight to Johannesburg.

Day 2
After arriving in Johannesburg spend your first night in the luxurious Michelangelo Hotel. A majestic dome in glass and steel tops the entrance lobby atrium rising eight stories. Scenic elevators overlook the atrium with its arches, columns, and decorative balustrades. Marble and sandstone finishes add to the elegance. Rooms and suites have all been tastefully decorated to reflect the elegant Renaissance-style that has been carried throughout the rest of the hotel. Within comfortable walking distance are the shopping and entertainment facilities of the upscale Sandton City Mall.

Day 3 and 4
Board your Air Botswana flight from Johannesburg to Maun where a light charter aircraft whisks you away to the airstrip in the Okavango Delta and a 2 night stay at Nxabega Safari Lodge

Situated in the Okavango Delta, one of the largest inland Deltas in the world. It consists of a myriad of lagoons, sheltered waterways and densely vegetated islands, where the valley floods once a year enriching and rejuvenating this ecologically unique area. Nine exclusive tented suites, nestled under a canopy of African ebony trees, have stylish en suite bathrooms and private verandas overlooking the reeded molapo (floodplain). Nxabega is an intimate camp, offering the height of sophistication and style within the heart of the Okavango Delta.

A wetland wilderness of looping channels, islands forested with palms and wide grassy floodplains, the Delta is home to a magnificent array of wild animals and exceptional birdlife. You will experience this irresistible combination of water and wildlife on twice-daily game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles, mokoro and powerboat excursions.

Day 5 and 6
Fly to your next safari lodge for 2 nights at Kings pool in The Linyanti Wildlife Reserve. Accommodation is amongst the most luxurious in all of Botswana. There are nine luxurious tented rooms under cool thatch, overlooking the hippo filled lagoon in front of the camp. Each of the suites has its own large bedroom area, lounge, private plunge pool and a sala. Each en-suite bathroom has two showers, two hand basins and there is an outdoor shower for those who prefer to shower under the stars
Activities include game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, night drives, and occasionally guided walks when the camp manager feels that it is safe to conduct walking safaris. Elephants are one of the reserves prime attractions - especially in winter months when they are forced to congregate along the waterways and around the waterholes. At times the reserve must have several thousand elephants roaming around. Red Lechwe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Impala, Waterbuck, Sable, Roan, Eland, Giraffe, Baboon, Monkey, Warthog, Crocodile and Buffalo are some of the other animals to be found here. Then there are the predators: Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Wild Dog and Hyena, and the nocturnal animals, Bushbabies, Spring Hare, Aardwolf, Serval, Genet, Pangolin.

Day 7 and 8
Continue your safari in the Chobe Game Reserve. Deep in the heart of this Botswana wilderness lies Chobe Chilwero Lodge, one of the most enchanting places on earth. With gorgeous, breathtaking vistas as a backdrop, you'll come face-to-face with the abundant creatures of the bush, and some of the most spectacular sunsets Mother Nature bestows. You will enjoy creature comforts - elegantly appointed accommodations, silver service, gourmet meals and fine wines. Relax in our luxurious thatched cottages with ensuite sunken handcrafted baths, indoor and outdoor showers, private gardens and terraces overlooking the magnificent Chobe River.

Game activities at Chobe Chilwero are scheduled flexibly, according to the whims of guests and the changing habits of the game. Thrilling guided game drives in open vehicles bring you to the heart of Africa's largest concentration of elephants, as well as hippos, buffalos, puku, antelopes, lions and other creatures that gather on the Chobe River's banks. Or join our acclaimed guides on a wondrous water safari on specially adapted motorboats. Sundowner cruises are particularly spectacular on the Chobe River.

Day 9
This morning you will be driven over the border to Victoria Falls.
No trip to Chobe would be complete without visiting the neighbouring Victoria Falls.
Without doubt, the Victoria Falls constitute one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world, a site well preserved so that tourists do not spoil the magic of the very place they have come to see. A path takes tourists on a walk through the rain forest, with special viewing points for the Falls themselves. The ultimate view of this natural wonder is best seen from the air. The 'Flight of Angels' provides a fabulous panorama of the river and its many islands, the spray from the Falls as it is thrown into the sky, and of the gorge downstream.

Stay at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Situated on a plateau, the hotel enjoys uninterrupted views and spectacular sunsets. Thatch, rustic finishes, vibrant fabrics, clay tiles and an extensive use of local hardwoods are key elements in the creation of a distinctly African ambience.

At sundown enjoy a cocktail whilst watching game congregate at the waterhole. For dinner, move upstairs to the candlelit Makuwa-Kuwa Restaurant.

Day 10
Today visit the Falls themselves and enjoy some souvenir shopping at the colourful African Craft Village. Late this afternoon you will be transferred to the riverbank for the departure of the Sundowner Cruise up the mighty Zambezi River. Step aboard for a lazy tranquil journey above the Falls where you can watch the splendid African Sunset. Drinks and canapés will be served on board. There can be very little to rival the pleasure of cruising down the Zambezi river with a chilled drink in hand, watching animals and birds frolicking amid fantastic African sunsets.

Day 11
All good things must come to an end and so you will bid farewell to Africa as you depart the Falls for Johannesburg and connect to your homebound flight.
