A
Sabi Sabi Wedding Tale
Picture this
- a faraway romantic setting of untamed bush and spectacular
skies, for a couple in love to exchange their vows and have a
wedding ceremony at Sabi Sabi Little Bush Lodge. The wedding will
be something distinctive, imaginative and magical. Guests can
enjoy a balance of sophistication and comfort, in harmony with
nature, savoring the rare pleasure of their very own secluded
slice of Africa.
A
table with a long, white tablecloth set up at the base of the rock
at "Fig Tree Crossing". There is a sandy river bed, a
huge rock and up the back of the rock grows a large Sycamore Fig,
spreading it's dappled shade across the top of the rock. Perfect
for small, intimate weddings. Champagne on ice, sparkling
champagne flutes, some driftwood, pods and bougainvillea to finish
it off. The wedding rings can be displayed on a porcupine quill.
The bride's bouquet will be the King Protea surrounded by some
foliage. Scented rose petals sprinkled on a zebra skin for the
couple to stand on. The ceremony will be filled with some local
African traditions.
After the very touching ceremony photos will be taken around the
rock, the tree and on the sandy riverbed before celebrating with
champagne. Back at the lodge, more photos will be taken and
another beautiful crisp white table setup under the shelter of the
safari lounge for the signing of the register and then the cutting
of the cake as the champagne flows.
Sabi
Sabi Little Bush Lodge is home to six luxurious suites, all
overlooking the riverbed. This site boasts all the features of an
exceptional bush lodge - beautiful setting, excellent cuisine and

getaway. The warmth and vibrancy of Bush Lodge, combined with an
intimacy and seclusion makes this an ideal bush retreat for an
unforgettable wedding, while enjoying the rare pleasure of their
own secluded slice of Africa.
Adventurous wildlife safaris both day and night, tracking the Big
5 off-road and viewing up to 200 species of animals and 300 bird
species, from open Land Rovers in the company of a qualified game
ranger and tracker, make for a truly unforgettable experience.
Spend two
remarkable and memorable days and nights with the whole game park
just for your party.
Day
1:
Start with a thrilling guided game drive transporting you to the
heart of Africa's big five. The advantage of Sabi Sabi Safari's
stems from the fact that animals on the reserve have not been
hunted for over half a century. Tourists can look forward to the
unique experience of being driven extraordinarily close to the
large mammals which, despite being totally wild, continue
unperturbed in their natural patterns of hunting, feeding, mating
and suckling.
Back at the lodge during the heat of the day, guests are
encouraged to enjoy a siesta, cool down in the pool and view the
abundant bird life.
Followed by a pre-wedding rehearsal dinner out in the bush under
the African skies. This unique African experience strikes the
senses with the tastes, sights, sounds and smells of Africa,
together with warmth and hospitality. Then settle into your suite,
which offers privacy and the very highest standards of personal
care and attention at all times
Day
2:
Wedding day. After the exhilarating wedding ceremony, the guests
will leave on a game drive and the newly married couple will be
treated to a private al fresco dinner at their suite with lanterns
and firelight as a finale. To be served by their own personal
waiter and chef. An intimate and romantic end to their most
extraordinary day in a luxurious destination within breathtaking
natural surroundings.
