Day 1
Depart from New York or Washington on South African Airways for Johannesburg.
Day 2
In the morning, arrive Johannesburg where you are met by a representative of Lion World Tours and transferred to your 5-star hotel, The Michelangelo. The remainder of the day is at leisure to browse the stores and enjoy the restaurants of the adjoining Sandton City Shopping Centre.

Day 3
This morning transfer to airport for your flight to Victoria Falls Airport. On Botswana's far northern border lies the Kwando, Linyanti and Chobe River system forming a series of lakes, islands and floodplains. This area forms the Chobe National Park, famous for its large buffalo and elephant herds. In addition to a variety of predators, there is an abundance of wild game and birdlife, which decorate these beautiful waterways. This evening bring your camera and plenty of film. You will witness the vast herds of Africa and abundant wildlife as you enjoy a game drive from the lodge into the national park in open safari vehicles. The game drives follow the routes along the Chobe riverfront, which supports the greatest abundance of wildlife in the game park.T ransfer by road to the Chobe Game Reserve. |

Day 4
Today, after breakfast enjoy an early morning game drive. Return to the lodge in time for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing at the pool or enjoying the gardens and views of the river. In the afternoon you will enjoy a boat cruise on the Chobe River as you listen to the chorus of the hippopotamus. You will see numerous hippo’s and other wildlife as they come down to the river to drink. A cruise by riverboat is a game drive with a difference, an experience not to be missed.

Day 5
Today you will enjoy a final day in the African bush, with the option of 2 more of the following activities; game drive, boat cruise or visit to Namibian village.

Day 6
Today, depart the Chobe National Park for Victoria Falls. Without doubt, the Victoria Falls constitutes one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. The site has been tastefully preserved, with paths meandering through the rainforest alongside the chasm. Viewing points include Devil's Cataract, and the steep view from Danger Point. You will be taken to your hotel for check in. This evening enjoy a traditional African dance. This is a thrilling display of African tribal dancing.

Day 7
This morning enjoy a guided tour of the falls. Later relax or participate in an optional activity. Some ideas are the "Flight of the Angels", a helicopter flight over the Falls or for the very adventurous try your luck at bungee jumping or white water rafting. You may enjoy an afternoon sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River or an elephant back safari.

This morning you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for
your flight to Johannesburg and connection to New York. (B)
